Palo Alto Creamery

Type of dining: Casual, but busy

Recommended Menu Items: Caribbean French Toast, Chevre Omelette (any of the house specials, honestly), Coffeecake muffin (all of the words in that sound delicious already)

 

Vitality Bowls

Type of dining: Casual, Superfood Café (I love a Brazilian berry bowl, no hate, please)

Recommended Menu Items: Energy Bowl, Tropical Bowl

 

Hobee’s

Type of dining: Classic American diner

Recommended Menu Items: Almost Joe’s Scramble (not sure why it’s “almost,” will ask the next time I’m there), Banana Streusel French Toast Sandwich, any of the hash browns

Type of dining: Cozy American diner

Recommended Menu Items: Blueberry Wheat Germ (yes, it has “germ” in the name, but it’s really good), Chocolate Divine Waffle

 

Cafe Brioche

Type of dining: Upscale dining

Recommended Menu Items: Fait Maison Choux Beignets, Crepes Ricotta de Citron Souffle (it’s French, so you know it’s good)

 

Joanie’s Cafe

Type of dining: Cozy, casual diner

Recommended Menu Items: Goat Cheese Omelette, Parisian Brioche French Toast

 

Pastis

Recommended Menu Items: Shorebreaker Bowl, Mahalo Bowl (yes, this is another acai place, but this is Palo Alto!)

Recommended Menu Items: Croque Monsieur, Warm Goat Cheese Salmon, Pastries to die for!
